Community Spotlight: Second Annual Jim Boyd Golf Classic Raises Funds to Support Early Learning Coalition of Manatee

The Early Learning Coalition (ELC) of Manatee County, Inc. organized and managed the Second Annual Jim Boyd Golf Classic on November 15, 2013. The golf classic, named for State Representative Jim Boyd, was held at Longboat Key Club's Harbourside golf course. The proceeds from the event will support the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County's early learning programs and services.

More than 100 golfers participated in the event. Corporate and individual sponsors included:

The Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County, Inc. is a multi-service agency dedicated to helping children develop the skills needed to be successful in school and life.
