Community Spotlight: Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP Donates $7500 to Girls Inc.

SARASOTA – The Sarasota Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP office has donated $7,500 to Girls Inc. as part of the nonprofit organization’s business partner program. This is the second year of the Business Partnership program, “Invest in the Power of Girls”. The partnership allows businesses to collaborate with Girls Inc. on mutually beneficial initiatives. It also creates a dialogue between Girls Inc. and the business community about skills and qualities that employers are seeking in today’s workforce.

Jennifer Compton, a Florida Bar Board Certified attorney in Labor & Employment Law, is also Vice-Chair of the Girls Inc. Sarasota Board of Directors. “We encourage our team to get involved in the communityorganizations they are passionate about and enjoy supporting these endeavorswhenever we can,” said Benjamin Hanan, managing partner of the Sarasota office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP. The $7,500 was presented to Girls Inc. at its annual business breakfast, honoring supporters and celebrating the year’s accomplishments.
