Aging in Paradise Resource Center accept a $4,000 donation

from AIPRC supporter Arnold Simonsen

LONGBOAT KEY – The Aging in Paradise Resource Center (AIPRC) recently received a $4,000 donation from Arnold Simonsen. Mr. Simonsen said that he wanted to help AIPRC continue to provide education and support services for older adults who live on LBK, Anna Maria Island and the surrounding areas. He added, “It is so important for all of us to stay involved engaged and connected to our community and that is what Aging in Paradise is all about!”
According to Dick Pelton, co-chair of AIPRC, “The Resource Center’s mission is to provide quality solutions and exciting opportunities for local seniors, enabling them to live with dignity and the highest possible level of health, independence and quality of life and we couldn’t achieve this without the generous support of caring donors like Arnold.”

Aging in Paradise Resource Center, is located on the 2nd Floor of the Longboat Island Chapel at 6200 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key, FL. All programs and services are open to the community and an elevator is on-site. Right at Home provides companion care during workshops and seminars when needed. If you would like to volunteer, donate, or find out more about Aging in Paradise Resource Center’s programs and services, call (941) 383-6493, or visit www.aginginparadise.org
