Community Spotlight: Venice Vet Honored by United States Submarine Veterans

VENICE – Leonard “Bull” Durham, resident of Village on the Isle, was honored by the United States Submarine Veterans at American Legion Post 159 on Thursday, July 17, 2014.

Bull served on the USS Crevalle from 1944-1946 and was recognized for 50 years of Submarine Qualification and service to our country.

Mr. Durham was inducted into the Holland Club as testimony of his years of honorable and faithful service to the U.S. Navy and the Submarine Force. Welcome Aboard, Shipmate!
