Community Spotlight: Webster University Announces Beck, Hamilton & Vogel Scholarship

SARASOTA – Webster University’s Sarasota campus is proud to announce the Beck, Hamilton & Vogel Scholarship. Offered by a longtime SHRA member and anonymous Webster University alumna, this scholarship awards $1,000 to a human resources professional pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or Management and Leadership at Webster University’s Sarasota campus and is a member of Sarasota-Manatee Human Resources Association (SHRA). 

This scholarship is in honor of Webster University adjunct professors and fellow SHRA members Margaret Beck, MBA, SPHR, Ronald Hamilton, MS, and Heather Vogel, MA, SPHR. These three professors made a significant impact in the donor’s educational experience and indoctrination into the American culture. The donor also wishes to recognize the commitment required to attain a graduate degree by offering financial support.

All SHRA members are eligible to compete for this scholarship award. The member must be currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in business administration, human resources management, or management and leadership at Webster University’s Sarasota Metropolitan Campus. 

Applications are available at the campus or through SHRA member Cindy Saunders (cindysaudners03@webster.edu) and will be accepted until September 30, 2013.
