Community Spotlight: Webtivity Employee Selected for Leadership Manatee Program

BRADENTON – Troy Newport of Webtivity Design Solutions has been selected for the 2013-2014 Leadership Manatee Class. Started in 1982, the Leadership Manatee program is designed to expose current and future leaders to all aspects of Manatee County. Class members are lead through twelve comprehensive days over the course of a class year that each pinpoint focus on a different segment of Manatee County. 

Newport moved to Bradenton from Tampa in 2006 to join the Webtivity team as Business Development Director. He has volunteered time to sit on the Advisory Boards for the Web Design Department at Manatee Technical Institute and ITT Tech – Bradenton Campus, participated in the Climbing for Dollars campaign with United Way of Manatee County, the Adopt-A-Highway program, Manatee Chamber Friends program, and also sits on the Manatee Chamber Technology Committee.
