Cordelia Thomacita Harris, a loving mother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Santa Monica, California. She was 75 years old.

Born on November 10, 1949, in Palmetto, Florida, Cordelia's life was defined by resilience, love, and faith. She spent the last 22 years of her life in Santa Monica, California, but her journey took her from the warmth of Florida to the northern city of Rochester, New York, where she lived before finding her home in California.

Cordelia was an extraordinary woman with a story of strength that inspired everyone who knew her. A mother of four boys, she faced life's challenges head-on, including overcoming domestic abuse. She was a beacon of hope and love to others who struggled with similar experiences, offering compassion, guidance, and support to those in need.

In her career, Cordelia was known for her work as a professional singer, including her time as a vocalist with the iconic KC and the Sunshine Band. Her voice brought joy to countless listeners. In addition to her musical talents, she worked as a designer, where she contributed her creative talents and professionalism to the design world.

Cordelia is survived by her brother, nephews, nieces, and cousins in Rochester, New York, as well as two elder sisters, their children, and other extended family in Palmetto, Florida. In Los Angeles, CA, she leaves behind cousins and an extended family from her mother's side, who were a vital part of her life.
