Happy New Year! This is the best time to set new goals or update old ones. The coolness in the air makes for a pickup in your pace. Remember, though, to slow down due to not only the lawful speed limits but for schools that are back in session.

During the holiday season, the City of Bradenton burst with excitement. Winter Wonderland, Mayor Santa and First Lady Claus at the Bradenton Market, and the downtown New Year’s Eve Celebration were successful events. Thank you to our partnering organizations and City of Bradenton staff members that helped make those events extra special.

So much is going on currently. The Manatee County Fair filled with fun, food, exhibits and entertainment, upcoming holidays and events such as Bradenton Market on Main Street, Presidents’ Day, and of course, it’s that time of year for the Bradenton Area River Regatta and the Pirates Spring Training season.

Here's to a great year as the City of Bradenton works toward being the best Bradenton it can be. Let's work together and do our best to strategically and fiscally meet the demands of growth. Hang on to your hats - the entire staff of the City of Bradenton is ready to roll! The best is yet to come!! Please be safe as you live, work, and play in the Friendly City of Bradenton.
