There's an open seat on the Code Enforcement Board, and someone is needed to fill it.
The board has the authority to hear and decide alleged violations of the county's Land Development Code.
The volunteer board consists of architects, business people, engineers, contractors, Realtors and anyone who may have experience or interest in the CEB's responsibilities. The group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m. in the first-floor chambers of Manatee County Administrative Center, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
Applications will be accepted through Oct. 30. The term expires in October 2012.
