MANATEE COUNTY – The afternoon portion of Manatee County Commission’s Aug. 6 Land Use meeting will be held at the Bradenton Area Convention Center to accommodate a large crowd expected for the proposed Long Bar Pointe project.
The afternoon meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Convention Center, 1 Haben Blvd., Palmetto. The morning meeting will begin as usual at 9 a.m. in the first-floor County Commission Chambers of Manatee County Administrative Center, 1112 Manatee Ave., Bradenton.
The Aug. 6 Council of Governments meeting has been cancelled.
Also of note on the Aug. 6 meeting, the proposed Martin/Hillwood development (PDR-05-64 (Z)(G)) has been continued to Sept. 5. Another case slated for Aug. 6, McMullen Creek RV Park (PDRV-12-16(Z)(G)), will also be continued to a future date that will be re-advertised once a date is set.
