David Schrieber of Bradenton, Florida passed away October 1, 2024. He was born in Elgin, Illinois on October 10, 1946, to Oscar and Dolly Schrieber. He spent the next 56 years in the area. He began his career in the grocery business at the age of 16 years old. He married his high school sweetheart in 1966 and enjoyed 58 years together. They had two children, Tammy and Brian whom he loved very much. He was employed by White Hen Pantry Inc. in Elmhurst Illinois for 27 years and ended his career as Senior Director of Store Operations.

He moved to Bradenton Florida in 2003 with his wife Lory. During the next 22 years he enjoyed his favorite hobby fishing. Six days a week he could be found at Rod & Reel pier. He helped people learn how to fish including many children. Each year many would return and look for him, remembering how he helped them learn to fish at the pier. Many of the friends he made at the pier will miss him.

Dave leaves behind his beloved wife, Lory, son, Brian (Kristy) Schrieber of Kimball, MN and daughter, Tammy (Memo) Arino of Abilene, TX, 3 grandchildren. Renee, Madison and Chloe, along with 2 brothers, Bill (Mary) Schrieber of WI and Roger (Sheila) Schrieber of WI, and one sister, Julie (Dan) Stayton of KY, he was preceded in death by his brother Jeff of Rockford, IL.

Dave was a Member and Deacon of Northwest Baptist Church and Bethel Baptist Church Bradenton, Florida.

A Memorial Service will be held at Northwest Baptist Church of Bradenton on Saturday, October 26, 2024, with a Visitation at 9:00 A.M. and Service to follow at 10:00 A.M.
