Dawn J. Harvey January 1, 1955 – November 14, 2025.

Dawn J. Harvey, 70, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on November 14, 2025. Born in Pontiac, Michigan, Dawn spent her life loving fiercely, working tirelessly, and showing up for the people she cared about with a strength and kindness. Dawn was the kindest human you could ever meet. She was brilliant, tough, and resilient - the hardest of workers and an extremely intelligent woman.

For 25 years, she was a dedicated department manager at Walmart, admired for her leadership, her humor, and her ability to make things happen. She loved her family deeply and unconditionally.

Dawn absolutely adored holidays, especially Christmas, and any day that gave her an excuse to show her love. In earlier years, she loved spending time at the pool and beach. Dawn enjoyed making macramé, and traveling - simple joys that reflected her creativity, warmth, and sense of adventure. She also found comfort and companionship in her beloved black cat, Kiwi, who brought her joy during difficult times. Dawn was preceded in death by her mother Donna Fair; sisters Diana Laramore and Vicki Baker; brother Ricki Baker; and her husband Miljoy Harvey. She is survived by her daughter, Hayley Harvey; brothers David Fair, Charlie Fair, and Rocki Fair; and countless friends and loved ones who will miss her laughter, her antics, and the way she made everyone feel seen and valued.

She taught her daughter to be kind, loving, appreciative, forgiving, and strong - to be a woman of her word, to live without regrets, and to remain soft even in a hard world. Her true love for people and her ability to make others happy was a rare and beautiful gift.

Funeral services will be held at Brown & Sons Funeral Home, 604 43rd St. W., Bradenton, FL 34209, Saturday, December 6th at 11:00 AM. A gathering will follow at the home of David Fair at 1306 13th Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205.

Food, drinks, laughter, and shared memories are welcome - Dawn would love nothing more than knowing everyone is together, even if she'd pretend to hate the attention while secretly loving the love. To honor Dawn's memory and her beloved Kiwi, a fund is being created to help black cats in shelters find loving homes. Donations in support of this effort are appreciated. Thank you for loving Dawn. We invite you to join us in celebrating the incredible woman she was and will forever be.

Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209, is in charge of arrangements.
