Bradenton, Florida - Dean, 73, of Bradenton, passed away peacefully at Tidewell Hospice on November 13th, 2024 surrounded by family.
Dean was born on January 24th, 1951 to Betty and Kenneth Brown in Columbus, OH. He graduated from Carol City high school in Miami, FL in 1969. He attended Stewart's International School for Jewelers in Jupiter, FL then he trained under a master watchman for 2 years prior to the opening of his jewelry store L.D.'s Jewelry and Watch Repair, a personal dream of his, which he owned and operated for 38 years.
Dean is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lynda, His children Deanna (Thomas) Haines, Anthony (Janie) Brown, stepson Michael (Emilia) Golding, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and sister Denise (Ray) Lewis.
Dean was an ardent football fan known for spending many Sundays cheering for his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed camping, hiking, drawing, painting, and fishing. Dean particularly enjoyed visiting his close friends Paul and Barbara in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. He will be remembered for his kindness, great sense of humor, and being a loving husband, father, and son.
