Deborah Ann (Ward) Federsel, lovingly known to many as Aunt Debbie, passed away on May 28th, in Bradenton, Florida, after a courageous life marked by love, kindness, and intelligence. She was born on October 4, 1955, in Ironton, Ohio, and throughout her life she carried the warmth and strength of her beginnings wherever she went. Her gentle spirit and steady presence touched the lives of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Debbie was a woman of deep compassion and quiet grace. She was the kind of person who made others feel welcome, valued, and cared for, and she was known for the sincerity she brought to every relationship. Her loved ones will remember her as someone who listened with patience, gave with her whole heart, and offered comfort in both big and small ways. She lived her life with a generous spirit and a genuine concern for the happiness and well-being of those around her.

She graduated from Southeast High School, and her education was one of the many foundations upon which she built a meaningful life. Debbie carried herself with intelligence and thoughtfulness, and she approached the world with a practical mind and a kind heart. Those who knew her appreciated her wisdom, her steady advice, and the calm reassurance she often provided during difficult times. Her presence had a way of bringing peace and balance to those around her.

Family was at the center of Debbie’s life, and she cherished each of her loved ones deeply, especially her late husband Josef Federsel and her sister Darla Williams. She is survived by her son, Brian Holcomb, and her stepsons, Josef Federsel and Andrew Federsel. She was a proud grandmother to Audry and Grayson Federsel, who brought great joy to her life. She is also survived by her brothers, James Randal Ward, Donald Vernon Ward, and Darrell Edward Brown, as well as her sister, Bobbie Rochele Woods and her two nieces and five nephews who loved her very much. The bonds she shared with her family were important to her, and she treasured the love, laughter, and memories they created together.

Debbie’s life was defined by the kindness she extended to others and the love she gave so freely. Her family and friends will remember her for her loving nature, her thoughtful words, and her ability to make even ordinary moments feel special. She had a way of showing up for the people she cared about, and her support was a source of strength for many. Her legacy lives on in the lives she influenced, the lessons she shared, and the affection she inspired.

Though her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her, the memory of Debbie’s life will remain a lasting comfort. She will be remembered not only for the years she lived, but for the love she gave and the example she set. Her life reflected devotion to family, care for others, and a quiet dignity that will not be forgotten.

Deborah Ann Federsel will be dearly missed and forever remembered with love by all who knew her. Her family takes comfort in the many beautiful memories she leaves behind and in the enduring impact of her love, kindness, and intelligence.
