Debra Huddleston, a cherished mother known for her kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality, left us on February 8, 2025. Born on June 13, 1968, Debbie lived a life filled with tremendous passion and service toward others.
Debbie was born to David Wilkinson and Dolores Dickerson in Morehead City, NC. After graduating from Jacksonville High School in 1986, she went on to build many fulfilling relationships and careers. She worked in the medical field for several years and earned an Associate's Degree to become a Certified Medical Assistant. She later worked as a supervisor for Manatee County Utilities Department.
Debbie was predeceased by her father, David Wilkinson, and her sister, Darla Wilkinson. She is survived by her daughter Sarah Jordan; mother, Dolores Thompson; and sister Donna Deering. She was lovingly known as "Gigi" to her granddaughter, Sophia, and many others who loved her like family.
Debbie enjoyed watching sunsets on Anna Maria Island, finding treasures at local thrift stores, attending The Bridge Church, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes, 43rd Street Chapel. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 2, at Bayfront Park for all those who want to remember and celebrate the life of Debbie.
