Deepwater Response: BP has Paid 12,269 Claims Totalling Just Over $8.3 Million

BP and the State of Florida have been working together to combat the growing oil disaster that is crippling the environment, as well as the fishing and tourism industries in our state. Notice the chart on the bottom right corner of the report below, which breaks down the 12,000 plus claims that BP has paid thus far, into different sectors of various costs.
