Dennis Patrick Gallagher, age 77, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025. Born on December 19, 1947, in Meriden, Connecticut, Dennis was a man whose friendly demeanor, adventurous spirit, and thoughtful nature touched the lives of all who knew him.
His loving wife, Mary Gallagher, stood by his side for over 50 years, sharing in every adventure and quiet moment alike. Together, they raised a family that includes their daughter, Michelle Gallagher, and sons, Kevin and Justin Gallagher. Dennis was a beacon of light and strength for his family, and his legacy of love and wisdom will forever live on through them.
An avid golfer and racquetball player, Dennis could often be found on the courts or the greens, enjoying the game and the companionship of his friends and family. His love for the outdoors was not limited to sports; he cherished days spent at the beach, feeling the sand between his toes and the sea breeze on his face. Dennis's adventurous soul led him to explore the world through cruising, always seeking new horizons and experiences.
Dennis's warm smile and open heart made him a friend to many. His ability to listen and offer a kind word made him a confidant and a source of comfort. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday April 2,2025 at 11:00 AM at Sarasota National Cemetery.
