Di Bartolomeo for District 5

Joe Di Bartolomeo is the best candidate for District 5! Joe will represent ALL the people in the district, regardless of party affiliation. I have known him through his service as Chairman of our Tara Preserve CDD. Joe is an excellent communicator. He emails our residents with updates relating to the Tara Preserve community and issues that need our attention. Just recently, when we had no power for over 75 hours, Joe was in frequent contact with Florida Power and Light to assess our situation and then apprise all of us of what we might expect and when.

Joe and I spent time together in my living room as I questioned his stand on issues of concern to me… primarily the excessive development of multi-family projects. Our infrastructure, mainly roads, schools, medical care and other facilities cannot support this. As a retired Florida educator, I understand the problems associated with overcrowded schools. I taught in Broward County during the west county boom in the 80’s when my high school built for 2300 students had over 4000. It was a nightmare. As a citizen of Manatee County, I waited 3 months to get an appointment with a primary care physician and 6 months for a dentist. I sit in traffic for twice the time a trip should take. Joe will fight to prevent further development.

Joe Di Bartolomeo has the educational background to provide the Commission the expertise necessary in the areas of finance and information technology. His experience with Fortune 500 companies attests to his competence. He understands small business ownership because he is a small business owner! I am voting for a man of integrity and one who believes in serving the people. I am voting for Joe Di Bartolomeo!
