Do You Know an At-Risk Vet in Need of Housing?

ELLENTON  Our Next Mission, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides housing to at-risk veterans who need safe and accessible housing, currently has a two-bedroom mobile home, fully furnished, in Colony Cove in Ellenton ready for occupancy.


ONM consists refurbishes mobile homes and gifts them to eligible veterans at no cost to them. The following criteria is required in order to be considered for this home:

  • A veteran who was honorably discharged from military service (please submit DD214)
  • A veteran who can demonstrate that they are either living in unsafe/substandard housing or homeless
  • Colony Cove Mobile Home Park is age restricted to 55 years or older
  • Successfully pass a background check (credit and criminal) to be a tenant in Colony Cove
  • Have sufficient income to pay the monthly lot rental fee of approximately $900 a month along with other living expenses

To date, ONM has completed nine homes to assist veterans in need. The generous individual who donated this home for renovation wanted it to be gifted to a veteran in need.
