Do your homework on Glyphosate and support Massie's legislation

Posted

Folks need to research for themselves and ask their Representatives to support Rep. Massie, KY, No Immunity for Glyphosate Act (H.R. 7601), to put the brakes on the E.O. to grant liability protection for the German company Bayer (parent of Monsanto), and ramping up production of Glyphosate production with American taxpayer support.

Ironically, Germany and other EU countries have banned its use in playgrounds. Parks and Public places. It is used everywhere in America for weed control (not just our food supply). Use in Florida includes massive amounts directly into our waterways to control weeds such as hyacinths, along with other chemicals that need further study as well (not just the current EPA findings based on very old and questionable studies).

Please read: "The glyphosate study retraction and the pesticide debate", Feb. 25, 2026, by Dina Akmetshina, published with a petition to urge the EPA to pause the use of Glyphosate until and unless it can be proven safe. Research if Glyphosate is harmful to bees, per Google AI: "Although it is not a neonicotinoid (it is a herbicide, not an insecticide), evidence shows it is harmful to bees through sub-lethal effects.

While not typically causing immediate death, it disrupts their gut microbiota, weakens immunity to pathogens, impairs cognitive functions like navigation and foraging, and can reduce brood development." Many other articles have been published on studies of Glyphosate sub-lethal harm to bees. After pondering the predicament we'd be in without bees, one may then wonder what besides cancer Glyphosate may be doing to us?

Of course, and thankfully, not all scientific research studies are entirely incorrect or actually bought and paid for to deceive in the interest of making and maintaining wealth; although some may have recently been proven to be incorrect, actually falsified, or highly suspect. Please decide for yourself!
