Bradenton, Florida - Born May 29th, 1934 in Flint, Michigan; died October 17th, 2024 Bradenton, Bradenton reaching 90 years old. Predeceased by his sons Christopher Madden, Patrick Madden, and Michael Madden. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Patsy Welch, his sister Ruth Gala (Dean), daughters Kelly Madden Warne (Graham) and Delynn Moldenhauer Soloman, grandchildren Rachael Warne James (Bryan), Hannah Warne, Liam Warne, and great-grandchildren Jensen and Katie James. Don loved and cherished his 9 siblings, nieces, nephews and their children. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Don and Patsy ran the Homes Beach Barbershop for 50 years and continued working until May of 2024.
Don was a generous tipper, giver of a few dollars when needed, and always there to celebrate life and family. He was an amazing athlete and enjoyed running the Superbowl football pool. He loved unconditionally and treated all with kindness.
A Celebration of Life will be at Bayfront Park, Anna Maria Bayfront, 316 North Bay Boulevard, Anna Maria, FL, 34217 on Sunday December 29th from 2-5.
