Donnie was born on November 8, 1940 and passed away on May 26, 2025. He was a lifelong resident of Manatee County and was known for his spirited personality and his life as a farmer. Donnie's life was also marked by his love for pranks, which brought joy and laughter to those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Sonya Noel. His children, Sherie Sexton Belflower (Tommy), Tammy Clark Lowe (Chad), Duane Clark (Debbie Perry) and Gary Clark.
Also his sister, Sandra Clark Rawls (Duane) and former wife, Candace Wilgus Clark. Donnie was also the proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Clark, former Manatee County Commissioner and Edna (Johnson) Clark.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 on Sat, 6/21, at the Manatee County Fairgrounds "Veteran Hall" located at 1402 14th Ave W, Palmetto. A fellowship of family and friends will follow from 4-6 so please bring your fav dish/dessert.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice and/or the Alzheimer's Association.
