Donald Metzler, age 85 of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022.
He was born November 25, 1936, in Steubenville, Indiana to the late Vern & Florence Metzler. He retired from Spears and Dehner Road Construction after 47 years. He was a part of the Operators Union for 65 years.
He is survived by his sons: Steven (Sue) Metzler & Mark Metzler of Bradenton, Florida; Grandsons: Donny Metzler of Kentucky, Brandon (Kelley) Metzler of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Granddaughter: Melissa (Ryan) Metzler of Bradenton, Florida; Great Grandchildren: Gracie Bellows, Braxton Metzler, Ella Radcliffe, Lincoln Metzler; Brother: Ronald Metzler of Auburn, Indiana. Stepchildren and Families: Clark and Rick Boyles of Indiana; Step grandchild: Melissa (Travis) Abbott of Indiana. A host of Nieces and Nephews, Family and Friends.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. No services have been scheduled at this time.
