Donald Moore, 76, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on November 19th, 2024. Don, the fourth of seven children, was born on November 9th, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Nora Moore, and his siblings, Robert, Norman and Maureen.

Donald was drafted into the United States Army in 1968 where he served in Vietnam as a member of the 24th infantry division. He lived in Bradenton for fifty-four years, where he worked at Palmetto Pump for fifteen years, and later for the postal service where he retired after twenty-two years of being a letter carrier.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, whom he adored, Barbara Wilson Moore of Bradenton, Florida, and his three children, Christine Moore of Palmetto, Florida, Katie Moore of Bradenton, Florida, and Joey Moore and his wife Monica Moore of Valrico, Florida, along with his three grandchildren, Lana, Emory, and Cora Moore.

Anyone who spoke about Donald always had a smile on their face. He was a godly man, kind-hearted and generous. Devoted to his family, who was his greatest joy.

Memorial Visitation Will Be Sunday December 1, 2024, from 3:00-4:00 PM. The service for Donald Moore will be held on December 1st at 4:00pm at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209. The family welcomes all to attend.
