Donna Mae Arbuckle, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Waterloo, Iowa, on October 25, 2025.
Born on January 8, 1935, to Peter and Evelyn Anderson, Donna grew up alongside her four sisters. She graduated from Corpus Christi High School in Fort Dodge, Iowa, laying the foundation for a life rooted in family and resilience.
In 1956, Donna married Gordon C. Wagner. Together they raised four children: Lynette (Jeff) Hinkle of Marshalltown; William (Lori) Wagner of Palmetto, Florida; DeAnn Waniorek of Waterloo; and Ramona Hamilton of Saltillo, Mississippi. After their separation, Donna found love again and married Delbert D. Arbuckle in 1972. Their retirement years were filled with travel and companionship, spending winters in Apache Junction, Arizona, and summers on Ten Mile Lake in Hackensack, Minnesota. Delbert preceded her in death in 2011.
Donna is survived by her sister Barbara Brunkhorst of Colfax, California; her four children; thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Her memory also lives on through those who shared in her journey and cherished her presence.
A private service will be held on January 8, 2026, at the family home for family and close friends. Condolences may be directed to the family.
