Doris Presha-Johnson

Doris D. Presha-Johnson was born to the late Harry B. and Blanche Presha on August 3, 1933, in Sanibel Island, Florida.

She moved to Palmetto, Florida, as an infant and attended Manatee County schools. She married the late Clifford Johnson on June 10, 1950.

Doris worked for 11 years at Manatee Memorial Hospital as a certified nurse's assistant and worked for 26 years at Tropicana as a case worker, from which she retired.

She loved to cook and bake, and she would feed anyone that came to her door. She loved to read books, do work puzzle books, and spend time with her family.

Doris was preceded in death by her sons, Ronnie Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Sr., Anthony Johnson, and Lonnie Johnson; daughter, Charlene Mosley; and granddaughter, Reshone Mosley.

She leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: her sons, Allen Ray, Stanley, and Johnnie; daughters- in-law, Joan Johnson of Atlanta, GA, and Alfreda Johnson of Palmetto, FL; sisters-in-law, Eliza Fluker of Red Bluff, FL, and Helen Harrington of St. Petersburg, FL; 18 grandkids; 60 great-grandkids; and 37 great-great-grandkids; special great-granddaughter, Dasha Grooms; and a host of nieces and nephews.
