Douglas Anderson, passed away May 2nd, 2024 in Bradenton Florida at the age of 60. He was born on October 14th 1963 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Douglas moved from Minnesota to Florida in 2001.
Douglas spent most of his career as an enterprise architect. In his free time he liked taking family trips to Disney, boating and fishing, baseball games, and became somewhat of a local celebrity at Woody's River Roo in Ellenton, FL.
Douglas is preceded in death by his father, Gary Anderson.
Left to cherish Douglas's memory are his wife Diane Anderson; mother Karen Collings; son Steven Anderson and his wife Val; sisters Melony Bailey and her husband Jeff, Nikki Anderson, Crystal Anderson Payne and her husband Jon; and granddaughter Luna.
A service to honor Douglas will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery Friday, May 10th at 9:30 am.
