Edward Dee Cole, age 69, passed away at home in Bradenton, Florida after an eight-month battle with lung cancer on Sunday, July 28, 2024. He was born in LaPorte, Indiana on October 14, 1954, to William and Rosemary (Frankinburger) Cole.

He married Sherry (Pisello) Cole in 1979, and they had three children together. They moved to Florida in 1985. He worked as a truck driver and moving specialist for Yarnall Movers based in Sarasota, Florida, for 37 years. He was an avid bowler in his early years, but his love and talent for singing was known by many people throughout his life.

Mr. Cole is survived by his mother, Rosemary (Frankinburger) Cole; his brothers, Steven, William, and Jeffrey Cole; his sisters, Kathy (Cole) Welch and Patricia Cole; his former wife, Sherry (Pisello) Cole; his sons, Edward Jr. and Christopher Cole; his daughter, Jennifer (Cole) Fernandez; his son in-law, Arturo Fernandez; his grandson, Luke Fernandez; 13 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great nephew. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn (Cole) Kyle, and his father, William Euple Cole.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, Florida 34209. Final resting place is at Palmetto Cemetery in Palmetto, Florida.
