June 11, 1942 - June 18, 2024

Bradenton, Florida - Eileen L. Williams went home to her Savior and was reunited with her late husband, Lloyd E. Williams, Jr. on June 18, 2024.

She was predeceased by her son, Marshall. She leaves behind her sons, Britt Williams (Erin), Reace Williams (Kim), and Brycen Williams (Annie) and 6 grandchildren-Luke, Aidan, McKinley, Brodie, Rankin, and Ella-as well as twin brother, Charles Lipthrott; sister, Alice L. Miller, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews!

Eileen grew up in St. Pete (Miss SPHS in 1960) and graduated from Stetson University (Miss Stetson in 1963). She and Lloyd were married at Stetson and eventually made it back to St. Pete where she taught high school English at Seminole High. She left teaching to lovingly raise her family. As the boys matured, she jumped in to work with Lloyd at Bruce Williams Homes as interior designer.

Her love of all things beautiful were exemplified in her home, her artwork, her beautiful gardens, and her always full bird feeders. She passed down this love of art to her sons and several of her grandchildren.

Eileen was passionate about her faith as over the years she was deeply involved at Bible Study Fellowship, various other bible studies, and whatever church she attended-most recently Trinity United Methodist Church in Bradenton.

She was a giver, a true friend to so many, a wonderful loving-caring mother, and devoted grandmother. Lately, she was most famous for her front porch greetings to any passer-by and as a loyal sports spectator at any event her grandchildren "starred" in.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity United Methodist (3200 Manatee AV W) on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11 AM with a reception at the Church to follow. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to: Trinity United Methodist Church and Guardian Angels of SWFL. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209, is in charge of arrangements.
