Film Friday Series Kicks Off This Week at South Florida Museum

BRADENTON – The South Florida Museum’s new “Film Friday” series begins this Friday, July 11 with Our Dancing Daughters. The 1928 silent classic features Joan Crawford tearing loose with one Charleston after another.

During this special presentation, the film’s original music-only track will be replaced with live musical accompaniment by Peter Tavalin.

Even those who may not recall the plot of this silent classic of the Jazz Age will never forget the indelible images of Joan Crawford doing the Charleston.
