FPL to Trim Trees in Palma Sola Area

Bradenton-- A Florida Power & Light contractor will be trimming tree branches and limbs and clearing overgrown vegetation near its lines this month in the Palma Sola area.

This is necessary to remove vegetation and branches that could knock out a power line during windy weather.

FPL asks that citizens provide access to trees near power lines in the back of their property. If access to private property is required, a contractor will contact the resident personally or leave a note at the property in advance of any work.

FPL also asks that property owners do not attempt to trim any trees or vegetation growing on or near power lines.
