Frances Deloris McMillen, age 85, formerly of Mineral Ridge, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, at her home in Bradenton, FL, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 27, 1939, Frances lived a life filled with kindness, devotion, and an unwavering love for those around her.

A dedicated and hardworking woman, Frances spent over 20 years with General Electric before retiring. However, her greatest joy came not from her career, but from the family she cherished so deeply. She was a guiding light-offering wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love to all who knew her. Her warmth, resilience, and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

Frances is now reunited in eternal peace with her parents, Russell Josiah Tenney and Lurene Zickefoose-Tenney, her beloved siblings Eugene, Jearl, and Robert Tenney, Carolyn, Helen, Grace, and Judith, her dear son Richard V. Maher Sr., and her first husband, Ralph Maher. Though she is no longer with us, her love and spirit will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her devoted husband of over 32 years, Ivan L. McMillen, Sr., her loving children, Janice Maher and Lisa Russey of Florida, and James Maher of Ohio. Frances is also fondly remembered by her brother, Michael Tenney, her sisters Barbara Fairchild and Joyce Hunt, all of Ohio, as well as a legacy of numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.

Frances touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed, but her love, wisdom, and laughter will forever echo in the memories of those who were fortunate to know her. In her honor, donations may be made to or the Alzheimer's Association, two causes close to her heart.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that her love endures, and that she is now watching over them with the same warmth and tenderness she shared in life.
