Francis S. Cashin, 95, of Holmes Beach, FL, passed away peacefully at home on January 3, 2023.

Frank was born on August 30, 1927, in Kingston, NY to Francis and Anna (Braun) Cashin. He grew up in Kingston, NY, graduated Kingston High School in 1944, attended Clarkson College and served in the United States Navy in 1945-1946. In 1947, he was hired by IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY. Frank served a 3-year Apprenticeship as a Tool & Die Maker, 3 years as an instructor, followed by 37 in various Engineering Management Positions. In retirement, Frank had an antique business for many years in Rhinebeck, NY called the "Corner Cupboard".

Beloved father of Mark Cashin and wife, Mary Lynn of Cary, NC; stepchildren, Dr. Christopher Simek and wife, Teresa of Lakeland FL, Laurie Wegryn and husband, Mark of Monson, MA., Robert Simek and wife, Donna of Dover, MA, John Simek and wife, Susan of Kingston NY; grandson, Mark E. Cashin and wife, Allison of Garner, NC; step-grandchildren, Dr. Shawn Simek and wife, Rachel of Gainesville, FL, Jaclyn and husband, Brian Landers of Melbourne, FL, Kaitlin, Maria, Billy, Charlie Simek and 3 great grandchildren, Hailey Cashin, Benjamin and Anna Landers.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joan M. Palmer in 2013; his first wife, Margaret M. (Peggy) Camp in 1978 and his brother, Ronald Cashin in 2007.

Additionally, Frank's family would like to acknowledge the excellent care he received from Dr. Manjesh Lingamurthy and his staff, the compassionate care from the nurses at Blake Outpatient Center and Tidewell Hospice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM, Friday, January 6, 2023, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 248 South Harbor Drive Holmes Beach FL 34217. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Frank will be buried at St. Anthony's Cemetery, 167 East Falmouth Highway, East Falmouth, MA. 02536.
