Frank R. Derryberry age 70 of Bradenton, Florida formerly of Chattanooga. Tennessee passed away Saturday May 17, 2025. He was a beloved husband, Army veteran, and gifted technician.

Born in Lewisburg, Tennessee, Frank proudly served in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1979. After his service, he pursued his education at the University of Tennessee, earning an associate degree in electronic engineering and a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Frank dedicated his career to working as an electronic technician. He was a natural problem solver who loved tinkering with motorcycles and cars, and he took great joy in understanding how things worked-and how to make them work better.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Lou-Ann (Wake) Derryberry, as well as his sisters Carol Landers and her husband Roger of Brooksville, Florida and Alice Childs and her husband, Sam Childs of Springfield, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Frances Derryberry; And by his sisters Francis Coulter of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Janice Starkey of Huntsville, Alabama as well as many nieces and nephews.

Frank will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous spirit, and deep devotion to those who loved him. His legacy is one of service, skill and steady kindness that touched all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A service to celebrate Frank's life will be held on June 13, 2025, at 10:30am at the Sarasota National Cemetery at 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL. 34241.

Franks life and memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
