PARRISH — At the April 6 AAU Wrestling Florida State Championships, Frick Wreslting won an impressvie 19 individual state titles with 61 wrestlers medalling, marking a significant achievement for the club in just three short years since its inception at Parrish High School, where the tournament was held.
Brothers Nicholas and Eric Frick have used their elite-level experience to build a highly successful youth club in a very short time. Nicholas is a former high school All-American who went on to train at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Eric was a Pennsylvania state champion and Army National Champion who also trained at the OTC.
"We are incredibly thankful for the backing of our local supporters, and the dedication of our wrestlers was nothing short of inspiring," said Coach Nicholas Frick. "This achievement is a testament to the hard work and commitment of both the coaching staff and the athletes, demonstrating what can be accomplished when passion meets perseverance. With a strong foundation laid, Frick Wrestling looks forward to continued success in the future."
The club logged the following state titles: Tyson torretta (4th state title), Jamie Valdovinos (3rd state title), Dominick Bass (2nd state title), Alden Bass 1, Meagan Hill 1, Genevieve Valdovinos (2nd state title), Talon Haynes (2nd state title), Josh James (2nd state title), Aryan Amini, Luke Ladel, Ivanka Hill, James Miller, Michael Lukany, Athen Cleveland, Mike Chop, Julian Fremandez-Ortiz, Brain Fernandez, Kazimier Dymek, Jackson James, Meagan Hill.
