George Osganian passed away Monday, August 28, 2023. He was 88 years old. He was born to Andrew Osganian and Rose Osganian on March 31, 1935. He grew up in Bronx New York City. He graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx in 1954. He was drafted the Army, 3rd Infantry Division, Rock of the Marne, Signal Corps. After that, he earned a Electronics Degree. Then, he worked at Bendix Corporation and Xerox.

He met his beloved wife at a New Year's Eve party in New York City. They married in Palmetto, Florida, at First Baptist Church of Gillette on August 18, 1963. They were married for 60 years. George attended 17 years at First Baptist Church of Gillette, where he owned a U-Pick Citrus Grove and farm.

He loved being a farmer, taking care of the citrus trees, and animals. He retired at 53 and then moved to Bradenton and attended First Baptist Church of Bradenton for 44 years. He served as the Usher for most of his service.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 60 years. He was also a member of the Suncoast Sahib Temple Shriners for over 40 years. He enjoyed Bonsai with the Suncoast Bonsai Society for over 30 years. His hobbies included woodworking, cooking, gardening, and especially reading.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Ruth Osganian; his oldest daughter, Anoush Roman Phakousonh and son-in-law, Nack Phakousonh; his younger daughter, Rose Ellen Schoenbeck and son-in-law, Dreux Schoenbeck; his grandchildren; Brad Edward Bertran, Nikki Rose Schoenbeck, and Jacob Dreux Schoenbeck; many nieces; and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3207 Riverview Blvd, Bradenton, FL 34205, on September 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
