George Strait, Snoop Dog & Aerosmith Among Acts Headed to Tampa

TAMPA  As the weather heats up, the bay area concert schedule has tickets just as hot. Country legend George Strait, hip hop icon Snoop Dog, and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith are among the acts coming to Tampa Bay venues in the coming weeks and months.

Strait, who has a record 44 Billboard country number-one hits over 30 plus years, will come to Tampa's Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, August 5. Tickets are currently available via Ticketmaster.

Tickets are also on sale for Snoop Dog at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds in Tampa, on August 12. Wiz Khalifa, Too $hort will open. Tickets are available through Live Nation. Pop superstar Post Malone will play the same venue on Tuesday, August 1.

Legendary rock band Aerosmith has a Tampa date on its upcoming farewell tour. The band will play the Amalie Arena on October 11, with opening act Counting Crowes. Tickets are currently on sale. The latter will also be in Tampa next month, when they headline the amphitheater on August 9.
