Get your cash flow and credit management under control in March

Posted

There are free financial education workshops starting this month.

It's worth your "money" to attend.

The Bradenton Central Community Redevelopment Agency is offering financial education workshops in March to help people reach their personal financial goals.

Although the classes are free, people should call (941) 744-2362 to register or to get more information about the workshops.

The first class "Cash Flow Management: Your Checking Account" is on Tuesday, March 9, from 6 to 8:00 p.m.

This workshop will help folks learn how to understand and effectively manage cash flow and learn the various elements of a checking account.

"Credit Management" is the second workshop on Tuesday, March 16, from 6 to 8:00 p.m.

Head over to this workshop to learn about credit and how you affect your credit score. This class will also teach folks how to establish or reestablish credit and it will identify smart credit choices.

"Surviving on Reduced Income: Introduction to Savings" is the final workshop on Tuesday, March 23, from 6 to 8:00 p.m. In this class people will learn how to develop a realistic personal budget, understand the various elements of a savings account, and learn how to create new ways to make sound financial decisions.

If the word "free" doesn't get you excited, maybe a fresh start to your financial woes will.
