SARASOTA--The Bradenton Gladiators pitched its second consecutive shutout defeating its cross-county rival Sarasota Millionaires 21-0 Saturday night at Booker High School in Sarasota. Bradenton remains undefeated (3-0) in the young Florida Football Alliance season and stays atop the AFC Western Division.
Gladiator quarterback Nick Kirby connected on touchdown passes to Jeff Charlton and Frankie Romo while running back Chauncey Jones rushed for another score to lead the Bradenton offense. The Gladiator defense has allowed just six points in its first three games this season.
The Gladiators will take on the Muck City Stars next Saturday at the PAL Bowl in a 7:05 p.m. kick-off.
