Gloria Gonzalez Casanova passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2024, at 6:38pm in Bradenton, Florida. She was 80 years old.
Born on April 4th, 1944, in Cuba, Gloria lived a vibrant life. She was an independent spirit who valued her friendships, community, and the joys of life. She was the proud mother of three children: Silvia, Carlos and Alfredo, and a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren: Gloria Silvia, Rosa Mercedes, Alfredo and Alexander.
Gloria was known by her generosity and willingness to lend a hand to those in need. She cherished her time spent with friends and family, loved gift-giving, and found fulfillment in arts and crafts, plants, cats and pizza. She had a contagious laugh that brightened every room she entered.
Charitable at heart, she always kept causes close, especially St. Jude Children's Research Hospital a charity she held dear to her heart. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
She will be remembered for her candor, generosity and laughter. Gloria will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
