Goat Boy Coming to McCurdy's

SARASOTA – The all-new McCurdy's Comedy Club in downtown Sarasota brings an A-list comedian to town when off-the-wall actor and comedian Jim Breuer stops in for 4 shows on September 19 and 20. Named one of Comedy Central’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time, Breuer is best known for his time as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (1995-98) and for starring alongside Dave Chappelle in the cult-classic Half-Baked.

Breuer continued his big screen success with roles in films like Zookeeper, Dick, Titan A.E. and Beer League. On the small screen, Breuer hosted MTV’s popular Beach House and VH1’s Web Junk 20. Breuer’s latest one hour comedy special And Laughter for All was a big hit on Netflix and is now available on DVD.

Breuer, whose act is described as “family-friendly,” comes to McCurdy's Friday, September 19 & Saturday, September 20 with 7:00 p.m. & 9:30 p.m. shows both nights. Tickets are $35. McCurdy’s Comedy Club is now located at 1923 Ringling Blvd. in Sarasota.
