Grace Hubers, age 85 of Wyoming, MI, passed away peacefully in Bradenton, FL August 11, 2023.
She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan July 17, 1938 and graduated from Byron Center High School. She was married to James Hubers for 43 years and had three children: Karen, Jeffrey, and Kimberly (deceased). She made her career at Steelcase wood division for 42 years.
Throughout her life, she was a member of Ideal Park Christian Reformed Church, Gun Lake Community Church, and Lakeshore Christian Church in Nashville, TN where she met and made many friends. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society as well as her beloved Bible study group. Grace loved spending time with family and friends and especially her grandkids. She never met a stranger and loved her time on Gun Lake.
She was survived by her children Karen (Greg) Fain and Jeffrey Hubers; and grandchildren Abigail Fain and Sydney Fain. Visitation with the family will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418.
A memorial service celebrating Grace's life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418.
