BRADENTON -- The HuB, a popular Sarasota entrepreneur collective, is hosting an event in Bradenton this Thursday, where they hope to connect young professionals, entrepreneurs and creatives in the Friendly City. The group says that the goal of the event is "to meet local entrepreneurs, learn about their projects and see if there is support to launch a co-work/incubator space in the City of Bradenton."
The event will be held at SoMa's new location on the east side ground floor of the Bradenton Financial Center at 1401 Manatee Ave West in downtown Bradenton (the former location of Jennifer's Cafe).
They are inviting all entrepreneurs, creatives and professionals in the tech/creative/innovation space who are potentially looking for a space to connect with like-minded professionals.
The HuB started in the Summer of 2009. According to its website, "The idea was to create a place where creative energy could thrive." That simple idea has evolved into a thriving economic and social engine in Sarasota, one that that the group says has supported over 200 entrepreneurs, launched 20 businesses and 12 major campaigns to support creative change in Sarasota, Florida.
The HuB says it operates as an incubator that provides space and resources to entrepreneurs and start ups. HuB says that the key element that makes the HuB unique, is that through the co-working space and collaboration of all entrepreneurs and businesses in the HuB, the incubator program offers exponential value to an entrepreneur.
