BRADENTON — Hunsader Farms in east Manatee County was recently named one of the top pumpkin patches in the U.S. by TimeOut. Hunsader Farms and the accompanying Bradenton/Hunsader Farms KOA Holiday are holding their 32nd annual pumpkin festival on Saturdays and Sundays beginning October 14 and continuing through October 29.
In addition to visiting the patch and picking your own pumpkin, the festival features a craft show, live music, kids' games and crafts, hayrides, a petting zoo, and more, all included with the cost of festival admission. Additional attractions at the farm include a corn maze and train rides. The festival is pet-friendly and welcomes well-behaved dogs that are leashed and picked up after.
For festival attendees who want to make a weekend out of their trip to Hunsader Farms, the adjoining Bradenton/Hunsader Farms KOA Holiday offers an array of cabins as well as RV and tent sites. For a more unique stay, check in to a decked-out lofted farm silo, one-of-a-kind Conestoga Wagon, or a safari tent in a bamboo field.
Hunsader Farms is a family-owned, open-to-the-public farm in operation since 1967. To learn more about the 32nd Annual Pumpkin Festival, please visit Hunsader Farms online.
