BRADENTON -- An area of showers will move across the northern waters this evening. Sea fog may develop after midnight and affect the waters north of Englewood through Thursday night. A cold front will approach the waters on Friday and push through the waters Friday night and Saturday. The front will bring gusty winds and rough seas over much of the weekend. High pressure will build north of the waters Sunday and Monday.
Thursday
Southwest winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Patchy fog. Thursday night will bring south winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Patchy fog.
Friday
Southwest winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Patchy fog in the morning. Friday night will bring west winds 5 to 10 knots becoming north around 15 knots in the late evening and overnight. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers.
Saturday
Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Bay and inland waters choppy. Saturday night will bring northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Bay and inland waters choppy.
Sunday
East winds 10 to 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers. sunday night will bring east winds 10 to 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.
