BRADENTON -- High pressure will extend from the southwest Atlantic and across the Florida Peninsula and into the Gulf of Mexico for the next several days with very benign weather conditions. A cold front will move south across the coastal waters Saturday night and Sunday. Elevated winds and seas will accompany the cold front.
Thursday
Southwest winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Thursday night will bring southeast winds around 5 knots. Bay and inland waters smooth.
Friday
South winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Friday night will bring south winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop.
Saturday
South winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Saturday night will bring southwest winds around 15 knots becoming northwest toward morning. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers.
Sunday
North winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers in the morning.
