| Featured Artist Gloria Cropper of Anna Maria Island |
ANNA MARIA ISLAND -- Gloria Cropper, Anna Maria Island fiber artist, and Cecy Richardson, Cortez mixed-media artist, have been chosen as Featured Artists for July at Island Gallery West. Both women are long-time members of the Island Gallery West artists' cooperative, which is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year.
The theme of their display will be "The Fourth of July" and will feature Ms. Cropper's contemporary, sculptural, coiled baskets and Ms. Richardson's imaginative paintings enhanced with collage, printing techniques and watercolors.
