MIKE SALES – (singer-songwriter/guitarist) – Holmes Beach, Florida
Mike Sales plays guitar, with a touch of calypso rhythm, and sings tunes he writes in the chill island style and positive vibe he’s known for, along the 7 miles of sugar soft sandy beaches on the Gulf Coast of Florida, he calls home. Think, Kenny Chesney, jamming with Jack Johnson, remembering Jimmy Buffet…channeling Michael Franti, a little.
Making a living, playing music to soundtrack a tropical getaway for visitors from all over the world, he is truly living the dream.
SARA NELMS (singer-songwriter/guitarist) – Sarasota, Florida
Indie vocalist Sara Nelms is classically trained. Critic Justin Kreitzer says, “she possesses one heck of a beautiful voice; her versatile acoustic-based sound is fluid enough to slide between intimate coffee shops and club stages with full band arrangements without losing any of the passion in translation.”
DEAN JOHANESEN - (singer-songwriter/guitarist) - Ellenton, Florida
Dean is a songwriter and guitarist inspired by historical fiction, speakeasy-era Americana, and the sounds of Hot Club Jazz, Western Swing, and American Roots Music, in the vein of Django Reinhardt, Bob Wills, and Lyle Lovett.
Johanesen has recently released a new EP titled “Semi Tennessee.” The EP was recorded at The Owl Studio in Nashville with Producer and bassist Shawn Byrne of Great Hill Productions. The session included Joe Spivey - violin (The Time Jumpers,) Pete Finney - Steel guitar (Mike Nesmith and Patty Loveless,) John McTigue III - Drums - (Emmylou Harris, Hank Williams III, Raul Malo of the Mavericks etc.) Listen here - SEMI TN
