James Milton "Jim" House, 89, of New Castle, IN, passed away on November 7, 2023, in Bradenton, FL. He was born on January 17, 1934. Jim was a loving and generous man who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Jim served his country with honor and distinction in the Army Airborne for one year, displaying unwavering bravery and dedication. Following his military service, he embarked on a successful career path. For 25 years, Jim showcased his remarkable craftsmanship as a tile worker. Later, he devoted 20 years of his life to Sun Hydraulics, leaving an indelible mark on the company.
Jim will be lovingly remembered for his generous spirit, infectious humor, and profound love for his loved ones. He possessed a kind and considerate nature that touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife, Catherine House; his dear sister, Denise House and his beloved grandson, Andrew Fougerousse. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved son, Greg House (Vickie), his cherished daughter, Karen LoCicero, his devoted son, Kevin Fougerousse (Carla), his nephew, Kevin Lee Bishop, his adored grandchildren, Angela (John), Steven (Ambre), Derek (Kelly), his treasured great-grandchildren, Kyle (Kristina), Angelo, Sophia, Skylar, Phoenix and his precious great-great grandchild, Ariella.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the New Wine Worship Center, 4090 Tallevast Rd, Sarasota FL. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jim's honor.
