James E. Murray affectionately known as Jim, passed away March 11, 2024, in his hometown of Bradenton, Florida. He was born to Bill and Betty Murray in Griffith, Indiana.
Jim was a graduate of Griffith High School in 1975. He went to work with his father at Murrays Village Foods and Convenient Food Mart as
a manager.
Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Larry (Sherri), and Bill (Sue) Murray; brother-in-law, Herb Morris; great nephew, Ricky Tomasino; great niece, Paisley Donovan, and his beloved dog, Sophie. He is survived by his sisters, Karyn (Tom) Fish of Bradenton, Fl; Terri Murray of Glendale, CA; Patti (Mike) Donovan of Jacksonville, TX; Lorene (Tim) Kruchowski of Bradenton, FL; cousin, Lynne Murray of Schererville, IN and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim's presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to be a beacon of light and joy for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
